Info
Les Tambours du Bronx are in concert at La Cigalière in Bollène.
The band was formed in 1987, in the workers' forges of Varennes-Vauzelles. Since then, their approach has been one of constant rhythmic transgression, where raw material—the metal, the oil drums, and the mallets—becomes an instrument of life, anger, dance, and inner revolution.
In almost four decades, the group has made its drums resound to the four corners of the world, from Europe to the Americas, from Africa to Asia, and has shared the stage with artists such as Metallica, Sepultura, Page & Plant, and Johnny Hallyday.
The Tambours du Bronx do not merely give a concert: they offer a physical, visceral experience, a communion where the music is lived as much as it is heard.
