On March 4, 2027, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, Air Supply checks in for the 'A Matter Of Time Canada Tour.' The Melbourne-born duo formed in the mid-1970s brings together Graham Russell (guitar, songwriting) and Russell Hitchcock (vocals), with the melodic soft rock that relies on tight harmonies, a high-pitched voice and arrangements that are often quite expansive. On stage, you find the DNA that propelled them to fame in the early 80s, between pop ballads and choruses designed to be sung in unison, in the vein of their landmark albums such as Lost in Love or The One That You Love.
In the opening act, Glass Tiger comes to defend its Ontario-made pop rock side, somewhere between melodic rock, soft rock and 80s-style new wave touches. Fueled by Alan Frew's clear vocals and an effective keyboard–guitar balance, the band revisits the spirit of The Thin Red Line and its hits, with a taste for clean melodies and mid-tempo grooves, perfect for kicking off the evening.
