Info
On November 7, 2026, at Milan’s Alcatraz, a date that feels like a milestone birthday arrives: Sud Sound System celebrate 35 years of career, bringing back to the stage that mix born in Salento between the late 1980s and early 1990s, when ragga-muffin and Jamaican dancehall fused with Salento dialect, pizzica and tarantella inflections. From their first impact within sound system circuits to the records that defined their imagery, the collective led by Don Rico, Nandu Popu and Terron Fabio has built a repertoire where party culture coexists with thoughtful lyrics and a strongly territorial identity. In Milan, a setlist is expected to traverse classics and the most recent releases, with the usual crew energy and that unique way of making people sing, even far from home. Opening and in support, Mundial and Papa Leu Selecter complete the frame with a natural bridge between Mediterranean sounds and reggae vibes.
