On February 19, 2027, Stephan Eicher makes a stop at L’Alpilium in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, with a musical show staged by François Gremaud. On stage, the Swiss artist presents what has defined his signature for decades: a way of blending songwriter’s craft with the energy of rock, with forays into pop and with electronic textures inherited from his early new wave days. A singer, songwriter and musician, Eicher plays with languages as with styles, moving from one piece to another with a freedom that suits him. There is that taste for direct melodies, for arrangements that constantly shift, and this writing over time nourished notably by his collaboration with Philippe Djian. An encounter to hear a repertoire in motion, conceived as a real show rather than a simple tour of songs.
