On August 14, 2026, Sofia Kourtesis lands at Silencio with her own distinctive way of letting house and soft techno converse, interwoven with downtempo and club pop. Born in Lima and based in Berlin, the producer and DJ crafts supple, narrative tracks where rhythms stretch, vocal hooks grab without forcing, and melodic pads let Latin American references come through in the background.
Revealed by a string of notable releases at the end of the 2010s, she established her universe with releases on Studio Barnhus and later on Technicolour (Ninja Tune), before widening the frame even further with Madres in 2023. In both DJ sets and live performances, she likes to maintain balance: to make people dance, yes, but while preserving an intimate edge, with ambient textures and processed vocals that give the groove depth.
