Michel Fugain returns to the stage on February 9, 2027 at ED&N – Espace Dollfus & Noack, in Sausheim, with a new show that spans more than fifty years of French chanson without merely being a simple best-of. As a writer, composer and performer, Fugain has always had a sense for the chorus that people hum and for the momentum of a collective spirit, from the Big Bazar era to his solo projects.
The through-line is 'Une belle histoire': a concert conceived as a journey between yesterday and today, where the classics gain color, carried by a very live energy and a storytelling approach that suits him. We rediscover that direct writing, those melodies made to bring people together, and that desire to share that has marked generations. From La Fête to the songs that have punctuated his path, Fugain brings his titles back into play, with the stage as his natural terrain and joy as the driving force.
