Ezra Collective arrives in Dublin on March 6, 2027 at the 3Olympia Theatre with its fusion jazz born from the London scene and the spirit of Tomorrow’s Warriors. The quintet, led by drummer Femi Koleoso alongside TJ Koleoso (bass), Joe Armon-Jones (keyboards), Ife Ogunjobi (trumpet) and James Mollison (sax), plays with a true sense of collective: it flows, it bounces, it locks in, propelled by grooves that draw as much from contemporary jazz as from afrobeat, UK hip‑hop, soul, dub, reggae and Caribbean touches.
Revealed by the EPs Chapter 7 and Juan Pablo: The Philosopher, they broadened their terrain with You Can’t Steal My Joy, then continued to deepen this blend between post-bop, funk, afrobeat and spoken word on Where I’m Meant to Be (Mercury Prize 2023), before following with Dance, No One’s Watching. On stage, their tracks alternate between tense instrumental passages and more open formats, always guided by the rhythm and energy of the group.
