On March 31, 2027, an exceptional quartet will take the stage at PLT - Theater Heerlen: keyboardist Simon Oslender, drummer Steve Gadd, bassist Will Lee, and guitarist Bruno Müller. Do not expect a standard evening, but a set in which groove, jazz fusion, and melodic freedom alternate, with room for improvisation and tight interplay. Simon Oslender (Aachen, 1998) is a Hammond and keyboard player with a solid funk and jazz foundation. He built his reputation in the German scene and has played with a wide range of luminaries, from big bands to pop and fusion contexts. In his own work, he seeks a balance between songcraft and virtuosity, with a clear love for rhythm and color in the chords. Steve Gadd is a drummer who has been setting the pace for decades for anyone who values timing and dynamics. His playing moves effortlessly between jazz, R&B, and rock, with that unmistakable precision you can hear in both studio classics and live performances. Will Lee brings a warm, direct bass line and extensive experience from New York's session scene. Together with Bruno Müller’s guitar, he provides the glue between groove and harmony, so that this quartet breathes as a band rather than as a mere sum of names.
