Author, singer, illustrator and ceramicist, Pi Ja Ma — also known as Pauline de Tarragon — cultivates a singular universe where pop feeds on poetry, humor and a touch of whimsy. With Magnetofille, her new album, she pursues a personal artistic path. Her songs recount daily emotions, doubts, the impulses of the heart, and the small upheavals of life with disarming sincerity. Bolstered by luminous melodies and sensitive writing, they compose a world that is at once intimate, free and delicately offbeat.
