Born in London, in the borough of Newham, Tiana Major9 has made a name for herself at the crossroads of alternative R&B, neo-soul and jazz, with a supple voice shaped by gospel learned early in church, and a strong Jamaican heritage. Her stage name also references the major ninth chord, that little harmonic twist that sits perfectly with her writing: warm, precise, and always highly melodic.
Revealed through tracks and EPs such as Rehearsal @ NINE (2019), she takes a major step with 'Collide', featuring EARTHGANG, taken from the Queen & Slim soundtrack and Grammy-nominated, before continuing with collaborations and shared stages. In 2026, she signs with November Scorpio, a self-produced debut album that includes, among others, 'Alone', 'Money', 'Shook One' and 'Always' with Yebba. She will perform it live in Paris, at La Boule Noire, on October 7, 2026.
