Paul Young brings Songs and Stories to Brewery Arts in Kendal on 11 June 2027, an intimate evening where he revisits four decades of music with acoustic versions and candid conversation. From the breakthrough of No Parlez and the soulful swing of Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home) to The Secret of Association and the worldwide success of Every Time You Go Away, he retraces a path that runs between blue‑eyed soul, soft rock and a taste for carefully reworked covers.

Before the solo hits, Young cut his teeth with Streetband and the Q-Tips, shaping a voice steeped in soul and melody. The journey also passes through Live Aid and side roads taken with Los Pacaminos, son of a tex‑mex and country rock appetite that broadened his palette. On stage, the songs are stripped back to their core and threaded with stories: studio memories, touring snapshots, influences and the small decisions that turned tracks into staples.
