Info

aja monet brings her New York-born spoken word to the stage, where poetry leads and music breathes around it. Moving between jazz, soul, blues and hip-hop, she speaks with a calm, rhythmic delivery that holds space for intimacy and politics. Her debut album, when the poems do what they do (2023), with Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah, Samora Pinderhughes and Marcus Gilmore, extends a practice attentive to Black voices, diasporic memory and collective forms.

KeiyaA, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Chicago, sculpts an introspective R&B that leans into neo-soul harmonies and hazy electronic textures. First heard under the name Keiya with the EP Work in 2015, she defined her palette on Forever, Ya Girl in 2020, then pushed it further with Hooke’s Law in 2025. On stage, her songs unfold in fragments and layers, flexible in groove and clear in intention.

London-based drummer and vocalist Momoko Gill centres pulse and voice, shaping pieces that put rhythm upfront without losing melodic focus. Her set opens a direct line between percussive drive and song. All three perform at KOKO, London, on 4 November 2026, presented by Pitchfork Music Festival London.
