On 20 November 2027 at the Arena Du Pays D’Aix in Aix-en-Provence, Gaël Faye returns to the stage with a new tour. A rapper and writer, he moves between rap, song and poetry, with precise, direct writing nourished by a confessional tone, heritage and the memory of exile. In concert he relies on a band that blends acoustic instruments with a hip‑hop aesthetic to set the energies in motion: a measured flow close to spoken word, sung choruses, breaks, and narratives that settle naturally.

His path intersects music and literature. First revealed by the novel Petit pays (Goncourt des lycéens Prize), he affirmed his voice on record with Pili Pili sur un croissant au beurre, Rythmes & botanique and Lundi méchant, the latter certified platinum. His latest novel, Jacaranda (Renaudot Prize 2024), continues this appetite for storytelling and infuses his songs with images and everyday detail. On stage, this material becomes a collective, physical moment where the intimate finds the impulse to celebrate, between pulsing hip‑hop rhythms, sung melodies and words that linger.
