Spear Of Destiny

JFK aka Live in Leeds presents Spear of Destiny at Brudenell Social Club on 31 May 2026 at 6:30 pm.

Kirk Brandon has led Spear of Destiny for over 40 years. The band formed in 1983 after Theatre of Hate. Before that, Brandon fronted The Pack.

The current line-up features Adrian Portas (New Model Army, Sex Gang Children), Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy, The Cult, The Mission), Phil Martini (Jim Jones and the Righteous Mind) on drums, and longtime collaborator Steve Allen-Jones on keyboards. The recording line-up also included saxophonist Clive Osborne.

Since the pandemic, Spear of Destiny have played club shows and festivals, including the 100 Club in London, Manchester Ritz and Glasgow Oran Mor, as well as Sign of the Times, Rebellion and Kubix.

In winter 2024 the band toured the UK with Richard Jobson, who was fronting a line-up of The Skids.

In 2025 and 2026 the band present Janus. Janus The Recordings features selections from Outland and The Price You Pay: 24 tracks re-recorded and presented on double vinyl, extended double CD and download. Janus The Tour will draw a set list from these new recordings.
