An Acoustic Evening with Wet Wet Wet puts the Scottish band in a stripped-back frame, centred on voices, melodies and songs that have marked their path since the early 80s. Formed near Glasgow, they mixed pop, soul influences and ballads across albums like Popped In Souled Out, The Memphis Sessions and Holding Back the River, before returning with The Journey. With Kevin Simm on lead vocals since 2018, the group opens a new chapter while staying close to the writing that made their name.

In Scarborough, the set leans on intimate arrangements that bring out harmonies, keys and guitar, revisiting well-known tracks and lesser-heard songs from across the catalogue, including material shaped on stage over recent years. The acoustic format draws a line through their different eras and lets the songs breathe, close to the way they were first written, with room for stories and interaction.
