Yes « The Fragile Tour »

On 13 May 2027 at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Yes bring The Fragile Tour to Glasgow. Formed in London in 1968, the British progressive rock group shaped a sound that blends psychedelic rock with classical colours and a touch of jazz, favouring long-form pieces, nested structures, close-harmony vocals and extended instrumental passages. The early 70s defined that approach across The Yes Album, Fragile and Close to the Edge, laying the symphonic foundations that still guide their live identity.

The band’s path since then has shifted through tighter, radio-ready writing on 90125 and back toward expansive prog on Talk, The Ladder and Magnification. Today, with Billy Sherwood on bass following Chris Squire’s passing and Jon Davison on vocals since 2012, Yes continues to move its catalogue forward, most recently with The Quest (2021) and Mirror to the Sky (2023). The Fragile Tour leans into the textures and dynamics of that classic era while drawing threads through every period of the group’s history, where interlocking riffs, layered voices and patient builds connect past and present on stage.
