Info
On 26 October 2026 at the Royal Albert Hall, London, Steve Hackett revisits the Genesis songbook and his own solo gems. The guitarist who joined Genesis in 1971 helped shape albums like Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Since leaving the band in 1977, he has traced a path between progressive rock and classical-leaning acoustic works, from Voyage of the Acolyte and Spectral Mornings to Bay of Kings, as well as the Genesis Revisited projects that keep this repertoire alive on stage. Recent albums such as At the Edge of Light and Surrender of Silence extend that blend of long-form writing, atmospheric textures and articulate guitar work.
Surrounded by his band, Hackett brings electric bite and intricate acoustic playing in equal measure, moving between expansive pieces, instrumental sections and melodies that marked an era. A chance to hear cornerstone Genesis material alongside highlights from a prolific solo catalogue, played by the guitarist who helped define their sound.
