Zucchero

Zucchero returns to Royal Albert Hall in London on 18 May 2026 with a set that revisits four decades of blues-infused songs. Recognised for his grainy voice and a blend of blues rock, soul and Italian canzone, the Emilia-Romagna songwriter moves between Italian and English, mixing gospel harmonies, R&B grooves and rootsy guitars.

Since the early 1980s, Adelmo Fornaciari has built a catalogue that thrives on stage: Blue’s, Oro incenso & birra and Miserere laid the foundations, followed by Spirito DiVino, Shake, Black Cat, La Session Cubana and D.O.C. His shows tangle intimate ballads with muscular riffs, drawing on collaborations that have marked his path with Eric Clapton, B.B. King or Luciano Pavarotti. Expect staples like Senza una donna, Diamante or Miserere alongside newer tracks, réarrangés pour la scène, avec une formation capable d’alterner électrique et plus dépouillé. Toujours centré sur la voix et la mélodie, Zucchero propose un concert où les refrains se chantent en chœur et où le blues flirte avec la pop italienne, dans l’écrin singulier du Royal Albert Hall.
