On 25 August 2026, Edinburgh Summer Sessions welcomes Lorde to the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston. Since her breakout with Royals and the stark pop of Pure Heroine, the New Zealander has kept refining her songwriting, from the high‑wire intimacy of Melodrama to the sun‑drenched palette of Solar Power, then the 2025 chapter Virgin, where synths and identity questions take a clearer place. Her set threads early minimalist beats with newer, brighter textures, carried by her distinctive voice and precise writing.
Swedish singer Zara Larsson brings a pop blend of dance‑pop energy and R&B touches. From Uncover to the albums So Good, Poster Girl and Venus, she moves between uptempo tracks and reflective moments, keeping the focus on melody and clarity.
Also on the bill, Audrey Hobert and Alessi Rose sketch two shades of the new pop wave.
