Foy Vance: The Wake World Tour

Foy Vance brings The Wake World Tour to 3Olympia Theatre, 72 Dame Street, Dublin 2, on 29 October 2026. Raised between Northern Ireland and the American South, the singer-songwriter shapes a sound where British folk meets shades of soul and gospel. He first made his mark with the stripped-back Hope (2007), then broadened his palette on Joy of Nothing (2013) before opening things up further with The Wild Swan (2016), released on Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records. Alongside his solo path, Vance has co-written for other artists and spent years on the road, sharpening songs that hinge on storytelling, a grainy voice and a direct, percussive guitar style.

In 2019, the paired releases From Muscle Shoals and To Memphis leaned into southern soul and americana, followed by Signs of Life (2021), which balances intimate ballads and rootsy, melodic pop. On stage, Vance moves easily from confessional slow-burners to groove-led tracks, revisiting early sketches as well as newer material. In Dublin, the set draws across that songbook, channeling his cross-Atlantic influences into a night built on melody, pulse and presence.
