Info
On January 26, 2027, at Vicar Street in Dublin, José González returns with the kind of live set that puts songwriting right in the spotlight. Built around voice and acoustic guitar, his shows lean on precise fingerpicking, quiet dynamics and melodies that stick without trying too hard. From the intimate mood of Veneer to the more rhythmic edge of Vestiges & Claws, he moves through his catalog with a natural sense of space, letting each arpeggio and each pause do the work.
Expect the mix that defines him: Nordic folk clarity, a subtle Latin American pulse, and that 90s indie restraint that keeps everything grounded. He also draws from Local Valley, where Spanish and Swedish lyrics sit alongside English songs without breaking the flow. It’s a concert for anyone who likes things stripped down, detailed, and deeply human, with the room acting as part of the instrument.
