Hervé Vilard

On January 30, 2027, at the Atlantia Convention and Festival Center in La Baule, Hervé Vilard returns to the stage with the repertoire that shaped his career. With a full-bodied voice and clear phrasing, he champions a narrative French song in which the melody serves the lyrics. First revealed in 1965 with “Capri c’est fini,” he went on to follow with “Nous,” “Venise pour l’éternité,” “Reviens,” and “Méditerranéenne,” while at the same time developing an international presence—particularly in Spain and Latin America, where he performs his songs in Spanish. In concert he alternates ballads and more pop-oriented choruses, moving between intimate confessions and more fully orchestrated passages, letting the voice guide the narrative. This engagement revisits his yé-yé years, now more elaborately arranged, his collaborations with songwriters and arrangers, and songs that speak of love, departures, and shores.
