Info
Uriah Heep play Cirque Royal in Brussels on 17 November 2026. Since 1969 the London band around guitarist Mick Box has been forging its own blend of hard rock and progressive rock: driving riffs, a prominent organ, multi-part vocals and songs that range from compact hooks to broader, narrative formats. The breakthrough came in the early ’70s with Very ’eavy… Very ’umble, Salisbury, Demons and Wizards and The Magician’s Birthday, where epic scope meets acoustic breathing space. Despite lineup changes the direction has stayed clear: contrast and melody, from the more direct approach on Abominog (1982) to the recent Chaos & Colour (2023).
Live, Uriah Heep places that entire history side by side: early classics and newer material share the same DNA of organ tone, choir‑like refrains and guitar lines that both push and breathe. The set digs into a repertoire that helped shape British hard rock, alternating long arcs of tension with shorter bursts. No frills: songs that draw their power from interplay and dynamics, carried by a band that has honed its sound over more than five decades. In Brussels all of that comes together in an evening that clearly foregrounds Uriah Heep’s trajectory.
