Born in New Orleans in 1988, Eyehategod shapes a sludge sound nourished by slow doom, abrasive hardcore and dissonant blues. Mike IX Williams’ rasping voice rubs against a wall of feedback, driven by Jimmy Bower’s relentless riffs. From their early releases In the Name of Suffering and Take as Needed for Pain through Dopesick, and later with the comeback albums Eyehategod and A History of Nomadic Behavior, the band has refined a no-frills aesthetic: heavy tempos, distorted guitars, constant tension.

On November 4, 2026, at the Glazart in Paris, Eyehategod brings this NOLA machinery to the stage: crushing slowness, punk eruptions, an unstable atmosphere where abrupt breaks prevail. The set moves between classics and recent tracks, with lyrics marked by addiction, paranoia and the everyday life of the American South. A show focused on impact—raw and precise—where the balance between weight and urgency has been at the band’s core for more than three decades.
