Turmion Kätilöt are set to perform in Paris on February 26, 2027, at Backstage & O’Sullivans By The Mill, bringing their unmistakable blend: Finnish-language industrial metal, hard-hitting electronic, and a knack for choruses that stick in your skull. Born in 2003 around MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo, the band has evolved over the years, notably with the arrival of Shag-U on vocals after Spellgoth’s departure, but the core idea remains unchanged: to fuse the heaviness of riffs with the punch of a club beat.
On stage, they play with contrasts: martial tempos, cold keyboards, melodies crafted for crowd sing-alongs, and that dark, theatrical aesthetic that gives real dimension to the show. Albums such as Technodiktator, Diskovibrator, Dance Panique, and Global Warning have established this disco-metal with no obvious rules, where partying and darkness go hand in hand.
