Emerging from the Scandinavian post-rock landscape, Oh Hiroshima has earned a reputation for turning introspection into a vast, cinematic sound. Over the past decade, the Swedish duo has refined a musical language that balances fragility and emotional intensity.
Formed more than 15 years ago, Oh Hiroshima consists of brothers Jakob Hemström (guitar/vocals) and Oskar Nilsson (drums). Since their debut in 2011, the band has released a series of albums, gradually expanding their sonic universe beyond their post-rock roots and establishing an international presence.
In 2026, Oh Hiroshima returns with And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter, continuing their exploration of tension, atmosphere and intensity, with a renewed focus on fully bringing these songs to life on stage.
