Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, an unclassifiable singer-songwriter, returns to the stage with Des Adieux, a tour that closes more than four decades of songs. From the Left Bank cabarets to major concert halls, he has shaped a singular universe combining French chanson, folk-rock, blues and electric rock, driven by vivid, ironic writing rich in literary references. With 18 studio albums to his name, he gathers here both landmark tracks and more intimate pieces, in a set conceived as a journey through his discography, from the early folk impulses to the more recent electric textures.
