Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine « Des Adieux »

Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine spans five decades on stage with a repertoire at the crossroads of folk-rock, blues and a more electric rock, carried by writing marked by oblique imagery, off-kilter humour and literary references. Born in Dole and having passed through the Left Bank cabarets, he established himself from the late 1970s with Tout corps vivant branché sur le secteur étant appelé à s’émouvoir, then confirmed a rock turn in the early 1980s with Dernières balises (avant mutation), Soleil cherche futur, Alambic / Sortie Sud and Météo für nada, before exploring other textures and collaborations up to Géographie du vide.

On stage, Thiéfaine plays with contrasts: acoustic sets and electric returns, spoken-sung narration and guitar surges, songs in half-light and tenser rhythmic pulses. His extensive discography supplies setlists that draw from every period, from the milestones of the 1980s to more recent chapters such as Défloration 13, Suppléments de mensonge or Stratégie de l’inespoir, with precise diction and a sense of storytelling that connects it all.

On 3 October 2026 at SKOPE in Lannion, he presents the Des Adieux tour, conceived as a journey through his repertoire. It features his singular writing, tightened arrangements and a band designed to let the texts breathe, between rock tension and more stripped-down lines.
