LUIZA

French-Brazilian, Luiza carves a distinctive path between Rennes and Brazil. Trained at the conservatory in operatic singing and having worked with harp, piano and guitar, she places voice and harmonies at the center. Her extended travels in Brazil, including the Amazon, have nourished a taste for popular repertoires and Afro‑Latin rhythms. On stage she builds a bridge between Brazilian music, cumbia, Latin pop, dub and electronic textures, with songwriting that speaks to the body, to freedom and to everyday life, conceived as much for listening as for dancing.

Based in Paris, Luiza refines this blend through notable collaborations with Fakear (Rituals), Mahom (a reworking of “Le Temps de l’amour”), Khoe‑Wa, iZem and Brazilian singer Flavia Coelho ("Sua Pele"), while developing her own material, sometimes co‑written with the duo Bleu Soleil. On November 12, 2026 at the Rockstore in Montpellier, she presents a live show that channels energy between choir and basslines, percussion and synths, without losing the melodic thread. The concert is conceived as an ebb and flow between song and club, where the Afro‑Latin pulse supports voices that call for sharing and connection.
