Hanne Boel

On 20 March 2026 at Kaløvig Badehotel in Skødstrup, Denmark, Hanne Boel brings the blend of soul, pop and jazz that has shaped her since the 80s. Trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and first noticed in the funk outfit Blast, she works a grounded groove and a clear, unforced vocal style drawn from gospel and R&B. On stage, the voice stays upfront, the rhythm section settles into a tight pocket, and keys or horns add warm textures; then the set narrows to quieter frames where a song rests on voice with guitar or piano.

The repertoire crosses eras, from early soul-steeped tracks to more intimate, recent pieces, often rearranged to fit the room and the musicians.
