Clara Kimera

On May 20, 2026, at Essaim / Main Room in Paris, Clara Kimera performs solo. Known as the voice of Agar Agar and trained at the École nationale supérieure d'arts de Cergy, she opens a new chapter under an alias that nods to Hunter x Hunter and to the idea of the chimera. After Player Non Player, she reinvents herself and asserts a more personal approach to songwriting.

Her aesthetic, DIY and cinematic, draws broadly from shoegaze, underground rap, and synth-pop. Lo-fi‑textured guitars, taut rhythms, synths that take up space — all presented without clear borders. Textures rub against one another while the voice remains central, between deliberate fragility and rougher angles. It’s a shifting space where every sound calls to mind both sighing guitars and drier, sharper beats.

Since Dial 8, her first EP released in 2025, Clara Kimera has been clarifying her trajectory and followed up with the single "god complex." On stage, she unfolds this new language, alternating tracks of controlled drift with more direct pulses. The live set is conceived as an open laboratory, where you catch as much the shadow of shoegaze as the energy of indie rap — a solo project that carves its own path without repeating itself.
