Maggie Lindemann is an American singer and songwriter who broke through online with incisive pop melodies and a strong visual identity. Her hit "Pretty Girl" (2016) opened the door, but since then she has set aside the saccharine pop in favor of a darker, more direct sound. On SUCKERPUNCH (2022) she fuses pop-punk and modern emo with electronic accents: overdriven guitars, angular hooks and propulsive rhythms.
