Drukwerk

Drukwerk will play on 6 February 2027 at Poppodium P60 in Amstelveen. The band around singer Harry Slinger emerged from the streets and café scene in Amsterdam in the late 1970s, performing Dutch-language pop rooted in recognizable stories from everyday life. Live, Drukwerk shifts between direct Dutch pop, intimate ballads and rhythms with a touch of reggae and ska. The lyrics remain close to the neighbourhood, with humour and a serious edge when social themes are addressed.

"Je loog tegen mij" is a fixed favourite in the repertoire, alongside songs with short choruses that quickly stick in the ear. Slinger’s voice and Amsterdam accent set the tone; the band keeps the arrangements compact and lets the songs breathe. The programme moves between energetic passages and restrained moments, with a focus on the song and the story. Drukwerk delivers a set that lets the city resonate and places the Dutch language front and centre—intimate and without unnecessary detours.
