Info
On December 12, 2026, at Confluence in Avignon, Cœur de Pirate returns with songs that blend piano, pop and subtle confidences. Behind the stage name, Béatrice Martin, a classically trained pianist, has, since 2008, established a clear songwriting voice and a sensibility that moves from melancholy to brightness. Her debut album introduced her with Comme des enfants, the starting point of a career where orchestral pop, indie inflections and electronic touches intersect.
On stage she draws from her entire discography: Blonde with its more rhythmic drive, Roses with its polished productions, as well as pieces from En cas de tempête ce jardin sera fermé and Perséides. She readily includes songs composed for visual media—such as her soundtrack for Child of Light—and places the piano at the center without abandoning more modern arrangements. Between signature hits and new material, the set unfolds through lyrics of shadow and light, carried by crisp melodies and a voice that conveys the intimate directly. A concert designed to navigate between restrained tenderness and pop pulses—simply effective.
