On March 15, 2026 at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Billy Joel brings his piano and a catalog that spans five decades. Raised on classical lessons and 60s rock, the singer, songwriter and pianist has long mixed piano ballads, more electric pop rock cuts and city-life storytelling. From the early lift-off around Piano Man to albums shaped with Phil Ramone like The Stranger and 52nd Street, his songs fold in jazz shades, tight pop writing and sturdy hooks. The 80s broadened the range with Glass Houses and An Innocent Man, while River of Dreams in the 90s closed his run of pop studio records.
