Charlélie Couture

Charlélie Couture returns solo with SOLISSIMO, an unguarded, face-to-face performance in which he strips his songs bare. Alone on stage, he turns each number into a playground: stories that escape, deliberate digressions, improvisations that reconnect with the moment. His voice, his guitars, perhaps a few keyboards, and that way of blending rock, blues, singer-songwriter craft and spoken word bring the songs’ underlying thread and original pulse to the surface. The same attention to detail, to urban imagery, to the rhythm of words is present, in a pared-down form that favors intimacy and listening.

On 20 May 2026 at the Café de la Danse in Paris, SOLISSIMO presents a different repertoire, conceived as a return to his roots. Not a frozen anthology: rather a journey that revisits, reframes and lays the songs bare. Charlélie has been practising this approach since his teens; he keeps its taste for risk and for the present. The venue becomes a workshop, the setlist adapts to the mood, the songs open up and breathe. This concert emphasizes the intimacy of the text and the dynamism of the moment, with that freedom that links artist and audience directly, as close as possible to the songs’ birth.
