Alexisonfire brings its post-hardcore roots back to Toronto on August 14, 2026 at the RBC Amphitheatre. Formed in St. Catharines in 2001 by George Pettit, Dallas Green, Wade MacNeil and Chris Steele, the band shaped a sound of abrasive guitars, a push-pull between screamed passages and clear, melodic vocals, and a punk backbone. From the raw urgency of their 2002 debut to the more structured Watch Out! and the heavier Crisis, then Old Crows / Young Cardinals, they carried that evolution into Otherness in 2022, adding broader atmospheric shades to their mix of post-hardcore and alternative rock.
Sharing the stage, Florida’s Underoath charts a line from early metalcore to a post-hardcore approach that blends keyboards, sharp dynamics and the vocal interplay of Spencer Chamberlain and Aaron Gillespie. Their path runs from They’re Only Chasing Safety and Define the Great Line to the more electronic-leaning Erase Me and Voyeurist, keeping a tight focus on tension and release.
