Carpenter Brut arrives at La Condition Publique in Roubaix on October 25, 2026. Behind this French synthwave project is Franck Hueso, who combines sharp synths, driving electro pulses and metal-tinged riffs, all fed by the imagery of 1980s action and horror films. Born in the early 2010s, the project asserted itself with TRILOGY, a series of EPs with a cinematic, saturated sound, then continued with Leather Teeth, a faux glam‑metal soundtrack that tells the origin story of an anti‑hero, and Leather Terror, a darker, more directly metal second installment.

On stage, Carpenter Brut delivers a visual show that mixes projections, lighting design and rock energy, conceived as much for physical impact as for atmosphere. Between ’80s nostalgia and contemporary tension, his tracks trade in martial rhythms, razor‑edged melodies and retro‑futuristic textures.
