Ultra Vomit arrives at La Condition Publique in Roubaix on February 19, 2027, with its metal that pounds as hard as it makes you smile. Born in Nantes in the late 1990s, the band has carved out a niche by blending death metal, grindcore and heavy, all in French, fully embracing the subversion of extreme music codes and nods to pop culture.
On stage, it moves fast, often changing its skin, and it switches without warning from fast-paced punk to heavier choruses, between pastiches, breaks and chunky riffs. From M. Patate to Objectif: Thunes, then Panzer Surprise!, Ultra Vomit has honed its art of navigating a wide stylistic range, with vocals that alternate between growls, screams and clean vocals. A concert designed as a complete show, where energy and attention to detail do as much work as the double bass pedal.
