Shadow of Intent brings the Imperium Delirium North American Tour 2026 to Montréal on May 17, 2026, at Théâtre Beanfield. Formed in the Hartford metal scene by vocalist Ben Duerr and guitarist Chris Wiseman, the band evolved from a studio project into a touring force, moving from early Halo-inspired lyrics to more introspective themes. From Primordial (2016) and Reclaimer (2017) to Melancholy (2019) and Elegy (2022), they’ve sharpened a dense, cinematic approach built around Duerr, Wiseman and a rhythm section honed on the road.
AngelMaker, from North Vancouver, stands out with a dual‑vocal setup that shapes its modern deathcore identity. Since Dissentient (2015), the band has balanced tightly syncopated riffing, melodic death metal influences and atmospheric breaks. The self‑titled album (2019) pushed guitar harmonies and dynamic contrasts, while Sanctum (2022) tightened the writing without losing impact. On stage, the interplay between deep growls and higher screams underlines a sound that shifts between heavy rhythms and more spacious passages.
