Info
On April 24, 2026, Glass Tiger takes the stage at the Théâtre du Casino, 1 Boulevard du Casino, in Gatineau. Formed in 1983 in Newmarket, the Canadian band moves between melodic pop rock, soft rock and touches of new wave. Carried by Alan Frew’s clear voice, choruses crafted to stick in the mind, and a constant balance between keyboards and guitars, they left their mark on the 1980s with The Thin Red Line, produced with Jim Vallance, and its hit singles “Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)”, featuring Bryan Adams, and “Someday.” Their story continued with Diamond Sun in 1988, then Simple Mission in 1991 and its duet “My Town” with Rod Stewart. On stage, Glass Tiger revisits this repertoire—ranging from ballads to mid-tempo numbers—in electric or more stripped-down versions, with undiminished energy.
As an opener, John Muirhead will deliver a 30-minute set. An intermission is scheduled after the opening act.
