Les Colocs

Les Colocs, a café-theatre comedy that has been performed for twenty years, arrives on 25 April 2026 at the Théâtre à l’Ouest in Rouen. We follow Robert, a lovably lazy layabout, and Jano, a shy man with a big heart—two friends from the South who moved to Paris to become actors. With not a penny to their name, they look for a flatshare and, with a bit of luck, a leg up toward their dreams. That’s when Jean-Phil, a Parisian from the Marais, appears, upending their plans and derailing the improvised household. Misunderstandings, slamming doors and small crises punctuate this three-person life in which each tries to find his place.

The play is by Jean Heredia, Patrick Hernandez and Robert Punzano, and directed by Jean Heredia. The cast alternates between Jean Heredia or Cyril Rosique, Fabien Lascombe or Vincent Desprat, and Martin Magli. True to the spirit of boulevard theatre, Les Colocs relies on pace, sharp repartee and the actors’ energy to tell a story of friendship, ambition and Parisian resourcefulness—somewhere between stage dreams and the reality of rent.
