Info
The Divine Comedy, the project of singer-songwriter Neil Hannon, arrives at the Cirque Royal in Brussels on 17 March 2026. Orchestral pop with deadpan wit, his songs blend clear melodies, meticulous arrangements and finely sketched portraits of everyday life. You think of the tracks that shaped his signature, from Something for the Weekend to National Express or A Lady of a Certain Age, between pop cabaret, light baroque and disarming crooning. On stage, Hannon alternates piano and guitar, tells stories, digresses, and creates the cinematic atmosphere that runs through his albums, from Casanova to Fin de Siècle, via Absent Friends. The strings and brass serve the narrative without overwhelming it, the choruses settle in effortlessly, and British irony ties it all together. A concert for those who love story-driven pop, polished harmonies and the art of the sung song.
