Dave returns to the stage with what he does best: French song, frankness and a spirit of sharing. Dutch by birth but a familiar figure in the Francophone landscape, he has spanned decades with refrains that stick in the mind — from “Vanina” to “Du côté de chez Swann,” including “Mon cœur est malade.” On stage he alternates memories and knowing nods, tells his stories and creates an easy intimacy that draws the whole audience in.

A first for him: he will take to the Salle Pleyel stage on 24 March 2026 in Paris for a concert that brings together his essentials alongside more intimate pieces. Accompanied by musicians attuned to his nuances, he performs with the self-deprecating humour that characterises him, moving between ballads and livelier tempos. It’s an opportunity to hear a voice that has crossed generations and to revisit a singular trajectory: that of a singer from Amsterdam who chose French to tell of feelings, lightness and winding detours.
