Info
June 5, 2027, at Le Bikini in Ramonville St Agne, Clinton Fearon returns to the stage with a tour centered on the repertoire of The Gladiators, the group of which he had been for nearly twenty years one of its pillars: the bassist, singer and lyricist. The idea is not to put together a simple best-of, but to dive back into the tracks he co-wrote and that have marked roots reggae, with that blend of social commentary, spirituality, and everyday life narratives.
There should be classics such as Chatty Chatty Mouth, Richman Poorman, On The Other Side, Looks Is Deceiving, Stick A Bush or Jah Works, carried by his melodic bass lines and his calm, highly narrative singing. For the occasion, his lineup expands with horns, percussion and backing singers, in order to recapture the richness of the vocal harmonies of the original trio, while preserving the backbone of the Riddim Source, his road companions on the recent European tours.
