Info
On October 17, 2026, Laolu places his vinyl records and gear at Gate Club in Paris for a set conceived as a long‑form journey. A DJ and producer based in Geneva, he shapes electronic music nourished as much by house and techno as by a jazz, soul and Afro backdrop he has carried since childhood. His path, bridging musical training in France and immersion in Detroit’s sonorities, is reflected in a very organic approach to mixing, with percussive lines, deep tension and grooves that breathe.
Spotted on labels such as Mental Groove, Defected or Innervisions, Laolu moves forward with a precise and versatile craft, capable of shifting from a hypnotic crescendo to warmer, brighter bursts without breaking the flow. In Paris, one can expect a dancefloor built for the long haul—dense but never rigid—where textures and rhythms intertwine until everything else fades away.
