Info
Arkayla bring their Manchester-bred guitar rush to Thekla in Bristol on May 14, 2027. Built on a run of singles that put them on the UK indie radar, the band lean into taut, melodic songwriting: layered guitars, clean hooks and choruses that stick, with a slight haze that nudges things toward dream pop without losing the bite of alternative rock.
On stage, that balance turns into a set that’s both direct and immersive, driven by tight playing and a real sense of band identity. Expect narrative-leaning lyrics cutting through the noise, shifting textures, and a live energy that makes their songs hit harder than on record. If you’re into modern UK indie where riffs, atmosphere and proper songwriting share the same space, this show at Thekla is the right kind of loud.
