Info
Will Young comes to O2 City Hall Newcastle in Newcastle upon Tyne on February 21, 2027 for a show that draws on two decades of British pop with a soul edge. Known for a voice that can switch from clean, direct hooks to more intimate phrasing, he’s built a catalogue that moves between adult pop, subtle electro touches and warmer, slower moods.
On stage, expect a set shaped by his different eras: the early breakthrough years that made him a household name, the more contemporary, synth-leaning shift heard on Echoes, and later projects like Lexicon, where he leaned into sleek songwriting and modern production. He’s also shown a strong instinct for interpretation, with his covers-focused work bringing a different kind of intensity and storytelling. This Newcastle date is a chance to hear those sides meet in one tight, song-first performance.
