Clap Your Hands Say Yeah returns to the stage with that blend of edgy indie rock and angular indie pop that defined the 2000s. Led by Alec Ounsworth’s instantly recognizable voice, the project born between Philadelphia and Brooklyn rides on taut guitars, finely crafted keyboards, and choruses that always veer off in unexpected directions. Across the albums—from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah to New Fragility—the band has honed a direct, melodic style, shaped by a constant rhythmic tension, balancing raw energy and off-kilter writing.
