Caramba Culture Live presents Hohnen Ford. Hohnen Ford establishes herself as a distinctive voice in the new English folk scene. Originally from north London, she grew up cradled by soul, classical music, and the harmonies of songs around campfires. Trained in jazz singing at the Royal Academy, she draws inspiration from the great standards of the Great American Songbook, endowing her writing with a refinement that has earned her the admiration of artists such as John Mayer, Tom Odell, Laufey, Bruno Major, and Marcus Mumford. After a debut EP that was critically acclaimed, I Wish I Had A God, she went on to support acts alongside Finneas, Patrick Watson, Wasia Project, and Orla Gartland, and has just unveiled her new single, No Harm No Foul. Hohnen Ford will perform at Café de la Danse on December 2 for an intimate and heartfelt evening.
